He said it's a great anti-bacterial to spray on wounds as needed, and it allows the wound to breathe for quicker healing inside out. It should be sprayed on thick enough so it looks like aluminum foil (solid silver) covering the wound. I used it over my horse's stitches and on smaller open wounds. The flies wouldn't go near the wound, even though it was heavy fly season. Awesome! I had no problems, no side effects, and it was easy to apply. It is also great for those hard to reach wounds because of the spray. Sure beats SWAT! You may want to wear gloves so you don't get silver residue on your hand as you spray.
