Product Description
The Universal Abdominal Binder is made with 6?, 8?, 10", or 12? wide super stretch elastic. At one end of the elastic there is a 1/8" thick X 21" long foam pad laminated (covered) with soft soothing cotton flannel. The foam pad adds rigidity, padding, and provides a non-elastic zone that helps to direct compression to the front of the abdomen. The Universal Abdominal binder is made for many purposes and conditions; however, some of the more popular include abdominal hernia reduction, post operative, postpartum, bariatric support, flattening and smoothing of the abdomen.

To avoid having to push my guts in every time I stand up, this works great. I wear it all day, and I have one for exercise and work.Yes, the foam part will shrink and the velcro will scratch (wear it with the velcro on the outside). So what, cut the velcro tab down. I started with the 10 inch version and cut the whole thing to suit me, works fine. Cut it wrong? So, buy another one, they're $15, that's practically disposable. By the way, the velcro tab is surely designed to be used sparingly. Don't unzip it unless you need to re-size the belt, step in and out of it. That way the foam part pretty much stays intact. I did find it necessary to get out the needle and thread after I cut it, just to keep the seams from unraveling, but it was no big deal. Finally, if you work with the belt, don't rely on it...
